REVTECH outperformed a major competitor an average of 2:1 on impact attenuation with thinner samples.
In 2020, REVTECH achieved optimum Level 3 hand protection – the first and only impact absorption material in the world to do so.
The thickness of the original sample is measured. The sample is placed in the compression device. The sample is compressed to 50% of the original thickness, placed in an oven at 150° F for 24 hours. The sample is then removed to relax at ambient for 24 hours. The thickness is measured and compared to the original.
Thickness difference: Less than 0.50%

While our competitors tout the deadening of the steel ball bounce dropped from a modest height as proving impact protection superiority, this notion is quickly debunked by reviewing our independent testing proving superior impact protection over the competitor’s materials in severe impacts.
To verify the chemical compatibility, i.e. any type of reaction, of the samples placed in contact with specific chemicals for a prolonged time. Sample’s hardness was measured before and after the test using the Shore 00 scale.
